  1. Hiho.

At the moment my toshiba sd220e is connected to my TV (non SVHS, but with SCART) with a standard scart cable.

until yet, all dvds and svcds played in color and without any problem.

i burned party animals, and now, this svcd is in b&W. to get it in color, i had, as told on vcdhelp.com, to connect the player with an composite cable.

    Qs:

1)But why are the other svcds are working in color?

2)Is there a solution using the scart port, or any other solution without using the composite cable?

    3) when i Have to use the composite cable, how do i let the audio rca-jacks free ? ( i want sound on the tv (for copying to tape) AND for music on the receiver)

    thx m0s

  2. Scart carries a composite line as well as a bundle of other things, do a google for the pin outs and you should be able to kludge a connection with a switch to select output, or your dvd player may already have composite through scart and need to switched via set up menu (mine does).

If you get stuck building a cable I might be able to help.
