  1. I have been using VirtualDub to convert, and edit, some of the video files on my computer. This has been doing very well for me, until I pulled out several different files and half-way through each of the conversions I got this error message:

    _____________________________________________
    Error decompressing video framesome number)

An unknown error occurured (maybe corrupt data).
    (error code - 100)
    _____________________________________________

These files play fine on windows media player and real one so I'm sure they aren't corrupt data.

Please help as I am at a loss as to why they wont convert.

    Thanks,

    Fadier

Load the files into Virtual Dub (VDub), then select Video-->Scan video stream for errors. This way, VDub can tell if the frames are corrupt.
    Hello.
