    hi i am really new to this and want to start burning vcd's is it true that after a while they will stop your dvd player from working properly? i know my dvd player supports vcd's but i dont want to ruin it!

    it may happen only if you use bad quality cheap cds,and has nothing to do with vcd format.

    is it true that after a while they will stop your dvd player from working properly?
    It depends whereabouts in the DVD player you insert the VCD.
