    I am kind of new to the MPEG world ( sort of ) & I am trying to find out what are the major differences between those three & which one is better then the other

  2. Go here http://www.vcdhelp.com/comparison.htm#mpeg2 and it will show you. CCE looks alot better for SVCD than TMPGEnc. But TMPGEnc looks far better for VCD than CCE.

  3. The Panasonic plug-in (2.51 and below) only does MPEG-1.

    At VCD bitrates, some believe (myself included) that it looks on average better than TMPGEnc.

    This is subjective though.

  4. I am still new to using it myself but I believe one benefit is that CCE is far, far quicker than Tmpgenc.
