  1. I have donwloaded this mpg to burn as vcd but it shows image tracing.
This happens throughout the whole movie, i thought i was drunk and had some double vision or something but it's like that

So the image just appears twice overlapping the other.
    Is this ghost image?

Can i reencode the movie to get rid of it?

this is what MpegProperties 1.00 says:

    Bitrate: 1.411 Mbit/sec
    "stream id's in header: 1
    video bound: 1

    flags:
    CSPS
    audio lock
    video lock

    352x240
    29,97 fps
    video bitrate: 1.150 Mbit/sec

    thx in advance

  2. If you did not convert it yourself...i think you are out of luck...just a bad vcd... you can try to reencode, but it useually only gets worse...

If you did convert it yourself... did you do it right ? Perhaps use TMPGenc in VCD template. NERO does the conversion automatically when needed.

Most of the time, it'just a junk mpeg you got.

If it plays well on a pc or at a friend's it might be th edvd player.

If you load it into one of the editors, do the frames look ghosted ? Vdub TMPGEnc ?

Do you have the right codec's ? Install the Nimo Codec pack
Do you have the wrong codec's ? Un-install the SMR (angel portion)

If you have Mpeg 2 (SVCD) you may also need to install a Mpeg 2 codec, Nimo has some, but the latest TMPGEnc Plus will only work with a few, Power DVD 4, will provide the correct one.

Also in TMPGEnc make sure the DirectShow priority is higher
    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4

Never seen what you refer to, but with the FAKE movies out there who knows what the idiots get up to, but I would think there is something wrong with your codec's.

TMPGEnc does have a filter to remove a ghost from an image
