    just d/l a movie and noticed it was xvid. my question is: can i convert this normally as i would an avi?

    yea -- i wonder also .. should i suppose if you install the codec and it plays ok in media player ...

    though i wouldnt want to go and start installing weird codecs for the heck of it.

    I had to frameserve through VDub because TMPGEnc nor CCE could recognize the formate.
