  1. Hello.

    I´m trying to convert the sound from a avi movie file "576 x 304, 134986 bildrutor, 23,976 bildrutor/sek, 127 kB/sek, okänt format"

    But i wont work in VirtualDub (error) or in dBPoweramp (not supportet format .avi).

    Help me please.

    The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format.
    Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.

    And I have done exatly as it written in the help here on this site.

    Ok, first install the Nimo Codec pack, this will make sure you have all the audio codec's.

    Vdub
    Audio > Full processing mode
    Audio > Compression > PCM (Default)
    Audio > Conversion > 44.1Khz
    SAVE WAV

    You may have selected a bit rate that's not available for the chosen codec, even though its listed.
    Nimo will give a better range of codec's.

    If the audio is AC3, then you may need to save and convert it later.
