  1. Do any standalone players play Microsoft .wmv files?

  2. No, but some play wma (audio) files (and will make a point of just saying "windows media" but not make it clear that it is audio only).

  3. Actually, I did notice a DVD player that could also play WMV (Audio?) at the Circuit City in my area.

    Dont remember the brand, or model, but it DOES exist.

    It was a Panasonic,but it only plays WMA.
