I want a DivX player which handles all .sub and .srt subtitles, and which allows me to start watching where I left off.
Replacing my old Philips 642 has been frustrating.
I've tried these Philips DivX players: 3140, 3960, and 5140.
(unlike the 642,) the 3960 and 5140 turn themselves off while Paused (the 3960 after 5 minutes, the 5140 after 20 minutes), and will not auto-resume DivX playback. I find it unacceptable to have to Fastforward to find the place I stopped watching.
like the 642, the 3140 will remain Paused. however, unlike the 3960 and 5140, the 3140 will not play .sub subtitles.
(the 3140, 3960, and 5140 all play .srt subtitles.)
any help please?
