  1. i just got CCE 2.50 and i have no idea how to use it. i read the guide here, but it wasnt any help. i already have an MPEG2 file, but i need to re encode it. i did what it said and start VDUB, but VDUB said it wont support my file. so i have no idea how to start CCE, cause it looks for the ECL file. i dont have one, i just have the mpeg2 file. so if there are anyother guides pls list them for me. thanks

  2. To load a movie file you need to right click on it. To re-encode a MPEG 2 file you need to create a pseudo AVI but I can't remember how to do that with a MPEG 2 file maybe someone else can help. Sorry I can't help right now but I got stuff to do and if no one helps I will when I get back.

    I don't know which guide you have read alreaddy. CCESP and VirtualDub can not open MPEG-2 files. So you have to frameserve to VirtualDub and/or CCE.
    Also have a look at the frameserver guides. DVD2Avi is the first frameserver, that you might want to use. If you want to edit the video anyhow, you might want to use VirtualDub or Avisynth to edit and frameserve.
