  1. I have an GE1101P DVD player. It supports VCD play. I'm doing some home videos onto a CDR disk and burning them into a VCD. I'm useing Ulead DVD movie factory to make the menus. I'm trying to get the VCD to start at the menu when inserted into the DVD player.

Whats happening is, when I insert the VCD into the player, it loads to a screen of disk information, track amounts etc. I have to press play to get to the menu. I would like for the VCD to autostart once inserted to the menu I've created. Is this a DVD player problem or an authoring problem?

Thanks. Sorry if this was the wrong topic to post this question in.

  2. Can you toggle PBC on and off on that player?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. Not that I have found under the setup features of the player or in the manual. I read somthing about that on this help forum. Regular DVDs don't have this problem, just the VCDs I create. Its not a major problem but one more step before viewing my VCDs. Is there anything I can do? TIA

  4. Part of the information on the screen along with the tracks is the letters PCB. How I turn this off I'm not sure. TIA
