I'm trying to capture in virtualdub from a vcr but even though I sellect the compressor to be used (I've tried loads) when I go to capture the ratio listed in the info pane says 1.0:1 most of the time?
I say most, as sometimes it does report 2.0:1 or 2.8:1 or whatever. Is there anything I should be doing to enable compression? I keep trying it, starting the program then changing the settings I want to use in a different order each time in case it's that.
Any ideas? This is really killing me!
Deaks.
