Hi I'm trying to get a couple of vhs tapes on a DVD each VHS tape has almost 2 hours of play time so I'm wondering what type of bitrate should I use to make the DVD movie with vhs quality; but to have enough space to fit 10 hours (5 tapes).
I have a ATI VE capture card which is ok but not very good quality at Mpeg1.5mb; vhs quaility at XVCD setting of 3.5mb.. any suggestions on a better quality card??
Also I have a weird DVD burner from a 1 year old MAC (at college) I'm not sure if it came with any software since its 1 year old and the DVD is not Pioneer but some weird name
thx in advance
pls help
