I recently downloaded VCD Easy but everytime I use it, it shuts down within 15 seconds. I downloaded drivers that were supposed to help me but they didn't.

    Now what do I do?

Have you tried downloading/installing the "forceaspi" drivers? That's what finally got me going with VCDEasy.

Always try the software site first.

I see the VCDEasy sit is offline at the moment.

I got the version of ForceASPI that I used from http://www.doom9.org/software.htm in the Support Utils section. By the way it is compressed in the RAR format, so if you don't already have a decompressor for RAR format you will have to go get/install one. WinRar is popular but I believe it is no longer freeware (I think it is time limited.) I am using Ultimate Zip. I believe I got it from Tucows and it has no expiration date....Once you get the ForceASPI uncompressed to a directory, just run instaspi.bat and then reboot when prompted.
