I just broke down and bought the plus version of TMPEGnc and noticed there are 2 settings for 2-pass VBR. One being 2-pass and the other 2-pass (old type). Can anyone tell me which of the 2 I should use to get the best results. The only difference I could see after doing a test with a small file was that the 2-pass setting seemed somewhat faster. Any tips on this would be appreciated.

This is just my personal opinion but I think the new 2-pass method is better. It seems to be faster yet the quality seems a bit better too. I just pick 2-pass and leave the settings alone.
