ok i got the dvdrip of supertroopers, and when i watch the film off of my hard drive it works perfect. then i burn the same file to a disc [ no encoding] put it in my dvd player and the audio is fine for the 1st 20 minutes, then after that it goes out of sync. my question is: since it played fine on the PC, is it a dvd player problem? i have the apex 1200.
any ideas on how to fix this? thanks

i'm guessing it's not a standard vcd and that your player doesn't like it you might wanht to try to rencode

its a standard SVCD. well as for encoding, do u have any advice? i seriously have no clue where to start. i dont want to sound DUMB, but im only 13 and the "HOW TO's" seem a little confusing. pls help.

did you make the rip yourself?
if not check the avi with divxfix if there are errors in the source that might be the prob cause tmpgenc doesn't really fix them. you,d need to fix the avi en then rencode
hope that helps
