Since I upgraded to the Pro version of TMPEG and I try to convert from divx -> SVCD, it takes double the time to convert it. First it runs once with a black screen, and then it converts the movie. Did I miss something that I didnīt miss in the not Pro version?

Sounds like you're now running 2 pass VBR - do you mean at 50% it starts encoding the movie (2 pass VBR) - or finishes and then starts again ?
If it is 50% when it starts and assuming you don't want VBR - then just select CBR etc in the settings. It will then encode immediately without having to run through it once - trade off is the file size ....
