  1. I have a 2.3gb SVCD file that I have been trying to demultiplex into a .m2v format so I can use it in my DVD authoring package. When I run demultiplex it only creates a .m2v file that is 706mb big. The .m2v file is fine but it is only one third of the movie. Am I missing a setting in TMPGEnc that sets the output file size? It's a great program but the help really sucks!

    Thanks in Advance

  2. I know what you mean. I had same problem and it's not easy to get round. First thing is to make sure you don't use tmpenc to join the svcd mpegs it don't do it right use movie combi or borland mpeg joiner to join the files and it it still don't demulltiplex us Xmuxer to demux the A/V. Then u can use tmpenc to reencode to put to dvd or whatever. Hope this helps. What dvd authour package u using?? i use spruce up but it's giving me alot of problems at the moment and won't create my chapters.

  3. Thx Acolonx... I'll try your suggestion. I joined the three different svcd segments using CM's DVtool. It obvously wasn't a clean join! Believe it or not, I live in a mixed world. I do my file manipulation on a PC (better tools for this) and my DVD authoring on my dual g4 Mac using DVD Studio Pro. Great app! and I have never failed on a DVD burn! THX again...
