I was trying to burn proper .mpg (for DVD) files in total size around 1.6GB
Using DVDit Pro 2.1. into DVD-R 4.7 GB [I've got Pioneer 104]
When I got to last step before demuxing it says that the program cannot fit it to
CD. It sounds strange because I did set in Project setting - Output into DVD not CD.
( Before, I used this program successfully to burn miniDVDs)
I also tried to reinstall the program - no luck - nothing changed.
Any ideas????

You may want to try to change the audio settings. if you use DVDiT defaults it will force PCM aduio, which will always gives you a larger file, just go to BUILD, select Aduio, change the bitrate to 192, change to Dual Digital (2) this works for me.

Bud, thank you for your help. We are on right track. The program does not like those files but even when I changed settings for audio and video to lower bitrate it didn't help. One interesting thing that when use same files with same settings 2 out of 5 it worked but if I trying to use 5 did not ( probably 2 files was under 700 MB of CD capacity)-
Though I want to write to DVD-R…I HAVE to go throu longer process autoring .AVI files in this program.
