  1. I was woundering how long dose it take to encode an avi file to a vcd if i were useing the TMPGEnc program. Aslo what kind of settings would i use if i want to watch it on my dvd player and what would be a good program to burn the file so i can make it a vcd thanx. 8)

    Encoding depends on the size of your original file, the template you select, and the speed of your machine, for starters. To convert, we all should begin with "Convert" section from the menu on the right.

    Since you are a newbie, like me, we should begin with reading the beginner's articles, as well.

  3. well ok but i have the avi file on cd and want to convert it to a vcd but the file is split into two parts is there a way to make it all one file thanx.

    to convert files: "How to - convert"

    to author/burn a VCD/SVCD/DVD: "How to - author"
