    i have downloaded a movie from yoink and i cant seem to put on a vcd can someone help me please. ive tried the how to but ithink its differant. i think the movie is already in vcd format but im not sure im a newbie

    what a extention has the file? mpg,bin,avi?

    The .mpg you can burn straight to VCD. Use any burn software, choose Video-CD from the wizard, drag and drop the .mpg and go. http://www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm
    Tha .avi you have to convert to .mpg. http://www.vcdhelp.com/convert.htm
    Try TMPGEncoder, a very good and free MPEG encoder.

    it is a mpg but i tried burning it nd it doesnt work or somereason is it cause its only 30 sec long see im using a 30 sec long one just to see if it works
