    hello,
I'd like to ask today opinions of the BEST, highest quality movie that can fit on 2 80min cdrs. At the moment is use the standard TmpgEnc VCD template to backup my dvds, and they are pretty damn good quality (better than vhs). Though I am interested in the xVCD and CVD and SVCD etc... (call me cheap) but what i dont to do is use any more than 2 cdr 80min cds.
    Thanks for your time.
    Regards.
    Benno

  3. It's hard to beat SVCD via DVD2SVCD. Although I don't recommend sqeezing more that 120 minutes on 2 CD-R @ 700 mb. Splurge for a 3 CD burn for longer movies. You can get nice triple CD jewel cases on the net.

Yeah, for DVD backup, DVD2SVCD is the best solution.
SVCD and CVD also is the way to go. Test both formats and find what suits you more.

  8. Yeah, sounds odd having both a 28k modem and a download limit. This is 2002, isn't it??
