Anyone know where I can get a copy of Burning Board 2.0 from...

This is commercially available in German but the English version has not been released yet.

If anyone has a site with a sneak preview or beta of the English version then please will you let me know.

Burning Board 2 is being sold it is not free. WBB 1.1.1e is free.
Technically this topic is warez. WBB 2 is not free and probably will never be. Plus it's only been released in German. Satelk did the translation into english and now it's just waiting for realease on Woltlabs website...

Just to put you straight I diddn't know they were going to charge for it.

This is not asking for Warez at all.

This is asking for a URL that I can download v2 Beta from.

There is an english translation for it allready available for download I have ONLY JUST FOUND OUT in the last 30 minutes.

You have to pay for it first,and you can go back and tell Satelk and Burntime that by charging they have just lost at least 3 new customers that I know of and pleanty more that will go with Ikonboard or phpBB before giving them $85 or whatever rediculous price they are asking.

I was looking for a genuine download.

You read TOO deep into things my friend.

Probably just looking for that odd time when you can point out the rules to people and make yourself look like the real law abiding citizen.

No worries....

The price is pretty steep though to say that it's gone from nothing to that.

I haven't had any of the WBB boards but I found a demo type board of version 2 and it looked really good so I was going to get the English version of that and try and convert my database to it.

Never mind............I'll stick with phpBB for now.......

yea stick with phpbb

but WBB 1.1.1 can be really good (It's free)...it's got so many mods it's crazy... You can deck it out to be bgetter than vB
