Hi there,
Have been having MAJOR problems trying to copy music over from a data mp3 disc.
Basically it's a badly burned disc with blotches on it. I am getting many CRC errors whilst copying. It is hanging like nobodys business.
Is there some function within windows which skips a file if it hangs for more than say 20 seconds? Or maybe a piece of software which avoids dodgy parts of the disc and copies over everything else intact? One disc has taken me nearly 2 hours now. Getting bored!
Cheers.

I've had success with this.
IsoPuzzle 1.7 Beta
Took 3 computers and a flash drive to finally get all the data off the CD. -
ISO Puzzle only works for some types of disc, so it may not be applicable here. Worth a try given the price of it though. It is certainly a great tool for DVD Video recovery.
