  1. Videos I export from adobe premiere have terrible playback. The audio and video chop bigtime. All i did(in adobe premiere) was add background music to some .avi files (that played perfectly beforehand) and exported it(to .avi). The resulting video is unwatchable. However, if encoded using TMPGEnc, the file plays perfectly, without skips. Im assuming that something obviously went wrong in the exporting process. Any advice on how to smooth the playback while avoid additional encoding?

any help would be highly appreciated
    thanks

  2. I have had the same problem and noticed that this happens because of the avi resolution (I asume you export at 720x480, 30fps, 48khz). The problem is about the machine trying to keep up with the stream (even on a p4-1.8g) and it looks fine when you encode it to mpeg because you reduce the stream size, for an instance, it is easier to play a 352x240 mpeg video than a 720x480 avi video. Eventhough you don't always have to encode to look at it, just reduce your screen size to about 50% and avoid using the play button on the preview tab when you select properties about the avi file.

Hope it helps, if I am rong somehow please let me know.

  3. I need it to play at full screen because I have to tv out the video. Is there anyway to reduce the stream size without reincoding it? I mean i dont think just adding background music can have that dramatic an effect on the video.....
