  1. ok, I am posting this again to try and give a better explaination of what is going on and what I have done.

I have several files encoded with a ATI all in wonder card in MPEG 2 that need to be edited and burned into a DVD. I have Adobe Premiere which doesn't do MPEG 2 editing without me spending $200+ on plugin software.
I used Ulead VideoStudio 4.0 to try and edit the Mpeg which seemed to go well until I tried to put the files in MyDVD which says that I need Headers.

I tried TMPGE to do a simple multiplex but didn't work.

Is there a way to add headers later?

Is there program that allows the editing of MPEG 2 and keep headers?

Is there a program that will allow me to convert the files to Avi and then a program to turn it into MPEG 2 with headers? I thought that TMPGE will do this.

    Thanks,

    Brad

  2. Ok, so I used Ulead VideoStudio 4.0 to convert it to .avi then used TMPGE to convert it to MPEG-2 and tried to load it into My DVD and it says I don't have the right decoder to view? Exact words are MyDVD could not find suitable decoder for X.file. ANy suggestions?

    THanks!
