So I've been using DVD2SVCD for over a month now, and have already dealt with the MPEG-2 tiral period and all, and now all of a sudden, with no warning, the program freezes when it reaches the step to start the video encoding (the step that takes about 10-12 hours).

I'm of course using it to convert from DVD to SVCD.

It gives me no error message, and sits there dormant until I turn the program off manually. The prograss bar at the botton of the DVD2SVCD window gets all the way across to the right side as if it had finished...

This happens with DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 Build 3 and Build 2.

The specs for my system are:
8)
P4 1.7 ghz
512 mb RDRAM
40 + 60 gb 7200 rpm hard drives
voodoo 4 4500 pci

So this seemed rather perplexing, and I was wondering if anyone has experienced this same problem? any help would be awesome
