  1. I burn bin to make vcd using Nero and I end up with 4 folders, one being the main file, a .dat file. I have tried playing this file with a DVD player on my pc but it wont play. I'm sure I'm burning it wrongly as I never end up with an mpeg or mpg file. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please. Many thanks

Nero can be bad at burning bin/cue's.

Either use CDRWin or Fireburner for it.

Or you can use VCD Gear to extract the Mpeg out, then re-author it as a VCD. In your case you'd want to do a bin/cue conversion to a Mpeg. If it exported the dat file, then you'd do a Dat to a Mpeg conversion as a 2nd step.

See under the CONVERT area for guides and the tools you'll need.

Thirdly, you could use a tool called ISOBUSTER, to extract it out as well then author your disc.

    Hope this helps.
