    hi guys i have a prob with tmpg when i use an unlocked pal template to fit one film on one disk i lower the birate to allow this and the projected file size is 700mb but when coding is complete the output file has become 946mb
    i have recently upgraded to tmpg plus and its seems to have started then

    use a proper bitrate calculator (tools, left of page) to caculate the required bitrate Vs file size, TmpGenc is not very good at these estimates.

    Yup TMPGEnc has been known not to be very good at estimating file size etc.
