IS it better to make Svcd vs VCd,, burning it as a svcd will it produce a better quality picture.
Or does it sill depend on the quality of the mpeg...
Is there anything you can do to improve the quality of an mpeg.. Any tools?

  2. The quality of any mpeg file all depends on the original source. And no, there is not much you can do to a poor mpeg file other than making a new one. VCD can have the quality of up to a VHS video tape, and a SVCD can have the quality of almost a DVD. But if the source sucks, so will the (S)VCD.

Apart from having to use twice as many disks, the quality on VCD's is as good as DVD's Provided the source is a DVD rip
