DV camera capture with ULEAD 4.0 lockup

Hello All
When i initialize recording in the ulead program it starts up my camcorder but then the ulead program halts in a strange way-I can't seem to stop the program without ctrl-alt-del.the timer doesn't run to show it is recording. I use a 1394 IEEE to my Audigy live drive.
I can use Adobe premiere 6.0 and that works to record but the learning curve on that program is steap. I believe i have loaded all the proper drivers including the direct x one. I have an ati tv tuner card-Is it possible that is causing a problem?I dissabled it in harware profiles and that did nothing.

I did fix the problem. All of my software was to old, I upgraded Ulead to 6.0(had 4.0) and also upgraded TPMGenc to the newest version. All seems good so far.
