    what application can i use to convert mpeg to avi? also if i convert it, will the template i used to capture using mpg be retained if it is converted to avi?

    the reason is i will capture using DAZZLE DVCII and edit it using
    PINNACLE STUDIO 7 as i cannot really appreciate moviestar's editing function.. also tried my hand at ADOBE PRIMIERE but think its way too complicated to use....
