The same result happened with me.
Here's a work around. Use the KVCDx1-CQ-704x480-_NTSCFilm_-1CD.mcf template instead. You do this by getting just half of the movie in TmpGenc's Source range and then loading the above mentioned template nstead of the x2 template. Then encode the other half of the movie using the same method.
I believe though that you are using the old template where the Quantization matrix by Andreas was used. The Andreas matrix just doesn't work good at that resolution. A recent discovery at Kwag's site is that the 704x480 size template work much better with TmpGenc's default matrix, resulting to much better quality and a lot lesser file size, so much that you can up the CQ several notches higher to fill up the same cdr.
I suggest that you go back to Kwag's site and download the updated template. -
I got the template yesterday so I think its pretty up to date. Ummm and just a quick question I tried other movies with different templates and I get the same message about some audio problem so i am just wondering if you have the same problem

I would go back to Kwag's site and ask the same questions, Kwag is normally quick to respond to problems with the templatess, be sure to let them know what type of player you will use these on, sometimes that makes a difference on some of the template settings.
