  1. Ok first of all i have a avi (final fantasy) which has some bad frames at the end, and it wouldnt convert in tmpg unless I cut them out so I did with virtual dub.

Ok i openened the avi and found the bad frames and deleted them, then i selected direct stream copy in the video.

So it saved it and everything looked fine until i played the new avi. And every like 5 seconds it will get this green tint and then vanish. But it will keep coming back.
I have tryed reduing it with virtual dub but it always comes out wrong am I doing something wrong or does virtual dub give a major loss in quality?

    -Mike

    Please help.

ps it still plays but it has that weird green effect.

  4. What codec do you have installed? I know the angelpotion codec causes purple tints and I swear I've read that it causes green tints also.

  8. first of all if you are using the divx codec make sure it is not a hacked or the open source one. these codecs tend to not work good and suck. use a codec like a microsoft one such as indeo 6, or one of the other ones. depends on your machine too. if you have a slow machine, which you might, it won't work well. hope this helps
