can anyone help with this? I will go to any lengths to figure this out. I have a 282MB, 29.97 fps MPG that plays just fine on my machine, but when I try to do anything with it (convert to VCD, cut/join) the video becomes badly out of sync with the audio. Tell me what to do, I've tried TMPGEnc, VirtualDub, Media Studio, Director.......if anyone knows how to use these programs better than I do, or know of a fix, please let me know..........

Try loading AVI into Vdub
Audio > Full processing mode
Audio > Conversion > 44.1Khz
SAVE WAV
Now use this WAV along with the original AVI in TMPGEnc (Load VCD template)
