  1. Hi - Is there a way of watching a file prepared by Tmpgenc before it is burnt to disc? I'm trying to get the best settings for my camcorder captured video before putting them onto disc (saved as an AVI file) and it's a bit of a pain doing the burning before wondering if there's a better setting. Currently I've got the ATI file player (which play Mpeg 1 (vcd)) preparred files fine, but only the sound from Svcd prepared files.

    Any suggestions?

  2. WinDVD will play SVCD files reliably. WMP will not. There are others that will, but I'm not sure which.

You can also burn onto a CDRW as a test - it takes some time, but this is the only way I've found to make sure it will play in a standalone player before you burn to CDR.

You could also downlaod the Mpeg 2 codec in the TOOLS section, and use your MS Media Player to watch it
