    Hi all.

I have downloaded a torrent and the file endings are 1080i DD5.1-CtrlHD.ts.par2
    There are 6 parts to part 2. (i.e. .ts.01.par2 .ts.02.par2 etc....)
I cannot find a way to view them or to burn them on DVD.
    Can someone please help.
    Thank you.

PAR and PAR2 files are error correction files, not the actual movie files. Typically, you will have RAR files (which contain all of the actualy data) and then a matching set of PAR/PAR2 files, which can be used to correct missing or corrupt data within the RAR files.

What does it say in the nfo file?

The ts file should be the actual audio/video. The PAR2 files should only be used to fix the data file if it is corrupt. In other words, if the ts file plays fine and isn't corrupt or damaged, the PAR2 files aren't needed.

Wow, Sharkman. You quite possibly have downloaded the only torrent known to man that had PAR files with it. I'm stunned. I have NEVER, not once, downloaded any torrent of any kind with a PAR file.

You can download and install the free QuickPar program to use PAR files if you wish. I'd advise opening the Sharks - 1080i DD5.1-CtrlHD.ts.par2 with it just to check and be sure that your *.ts file is actually 100% accurate. QuickPar can repare the *.ts file is there are any errors by using the PAR files.

The *.nfo file is just some kind of text file with info about the ts file.

This is what the nfo says.... (its chinese to me)

    2005

A chilling underwater excursion dives into the depths to closely examine these
"ancient creatures of the ocean." Included is jaw-dropping footage of great
    whites, hammerheads and whale sharks.

So the movie file is Sharks.ts and it is 39 minutes long. Since you already stated you were able to burn the ts file, does it play and is it 39 minutes? If so, then you are done.
