  2. I was having the same problem and just fixed it. Don't know if it will help you but you can give it a try. It has to do with your hard drive(s).
If they are ultra dma 100 or better you have to use a 80 wire 40 pin ribben cable. If you have 2 hard drives make sure they are on the same cable and going to ide1 on the mother board. All cdroms dvds have to be on a other cable going to ide2 on your mother board. Putting a cdrom or dvd writer on the same cable as your hard drive will slow the hard drive
down alot.Doing this fixed mine it was driving me nuts I have more than one ide control. Ihave a pci ultra ata 133 controler because I have 4 hard drives dvd player dvd writer and a cd writer. made it harder to figrue out.
But that was it. Let me know how you make out

  3. I've had it crash feeding it single VOB files out of a movie - try creating a CFFL file (a text file with a list of files in it and the text "CFFL" as the first line) and opening that instead. I haven't had it crash using CFFL files where it opens the whole movie.

  4. Vidguy, I have had it crash every time for the last month using a cffl file. The only way I use rempeg2 is with a cffl file. When I added the pci ide controler and swicth stuff around the program would crash. I don't know if that's rstoneba problem but I think it is a good shot. we will find out.
Any advise is helpfull I've been there
