Playback lag...

Hello,
When i watch DivX film on my computer, there's a small delay between the video and the sound.
This problem started a couple of weeks ago and i don't really know what i have done to desserve that. i've just upgraded Media Player and change my version of the DivX codec (i am using the DivX 5.0.2 at the moment)
I firstly thought it came from my computer but i erased lots of stuff from my hardrive (my harddrive is almost empty now) and the problem is still there.
it's very annoying because i cannot watch films on my computer anymore.
Please if you have any ideas to sort out my problem, just reply to this post because I don't have any more ideas to fix it.

if u go into the start menu and look 4 the divx folder in and click on decoder config and set the slider bar down to ther lowest setting it may solve the problem if not then sorry

make sure you have no other stuff running when you play it
