Looking for VCR comparisons

Hi everyone.

I thought I had seen some vcr comparisons on this site before, but I can't remember where I saw it. I'm looking into getting an s-vhs vcr and wanted to make some comparisons between some different brands. If there is a link, I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. I recently bought a JVC model that has this at Best Buy. Forget teh exact model, but it was far from "top of the line" Actually, I think finding a top of the line model is no longer possible going into the main stores, like Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

So far, I haven't really watched any of the things I've taped, except for the last few seconds to set the tape up for the next showing or different spots to make sure it did tape. I'd say that the jury is still out on whether it really makes a difference of not in better image.
