  1. Hello anyone out there

I have a problem where I have a number of superior quality SVCD films but the person I want to give them to can only play VCDs only not SVCDs!!!.
Is there anyone out there who can help me with this problem---- will i have to join the film back together(which is the best program to use) and also will i have to re encode it.
At the moment i use CLADdvdXP which works great with TMPgenc 2.54a and encodes my films brilliantly but i need to do those which i have had already encoded back to VCD can anyone please help me!!!

  2. Hello me again!!
I have had a go at converting SVCD to VCD by using the "fake" method used on many sites.
Could someone tell me what i have done wrong.
I firstly pulled the AVSEQ01.dat file off the two SVCDs onto my desktop. Then using TMPGenc 2.54a i put the files into video / audio input and put in a new output file. I change the TYPE to MPEG 1 Video CD then press RUN. It encodes in about 3-4 mins fine and puts a new file in MPEG to the output file. At the end of encoding it says

"300994 s packets cause underflow. Mpeg may cause error when playback"

When I play it back in Media player the sound works very clear but the picture is black. I need to know what I can do to put this right. I use PAL for everything.Don't know anymore details to give you .

    Thanks GAZMAN1965
