  1. Ok, I'm trying to make a copy of The Others that I rented to get a little practice at this whole dvd ripping thing. I rip the files with dvd decryter, no problem. I strip the angles and streams I don't need according to Doom's guide on multiangle stripping with Ifoedit, and test them again, no problem, but the file is still too big to put on one disk. So I create my d2v file with DVD2AVI, create the Tmpge template with Ifoedit and then create the m2v file. All seems to be going fine. I remux the m2v back into my VOB files with Ifoedit and test again, but my audio is a few seconds before the movie. I check the total time after I stripped the streams when it was still in sync and the total time of the movie was 1:44:08. The total time after creating the m2v file and remuxing is 1:44:03, hence, there is my 5 second discrepancy. Does anyone know how in God's name I can fix that? Thanks in advance.

Use the Source Range filter in TMPGEnc. It gives you the option to adjustr the audio delay in miliseconds so you'll have to use -5000 if it's playing too early. use the source range to encode about 1min of the movie so you'll be able to tell how much you'll have to increase/decrease the delay to get it in synch.
