I have been using DVD2SVCD 1.09 to rip DVDs to SVCD. Works great on playback on the computer, but studders on my player. I then found out that Panasonic players have problems via a user guide...
http://forum.vcdhelp.com/userguides/97090.php and tried that fix out. I pulled the Mpeg file off of the initial SVCD I made and the tips given seemed to work, it made a Mpeg1 output file, and it looked fine when played from the HD to check the quality.
The problem I have now is when I try to make a video CD as instructed using Nero, It tells me I do not have enough space on a blank CD. The file I converted to Mpeg1 came from a CD-R from an initial SVCD that Panasonic does not like and I can not figure out why the converted from Mpeg2 to Mpeg1 file will not fit. I must be missing something simple, and tried doing my homework on it but am still stumped. Can anyone point me in the right way?
Thanks!
Harry
P.S. The reason I pulled the Mpeg off of the non-working SVCD was because when I tried to use vcdgear to extract it from the .cue file, it gave an error of video stream not found. I need to figure out that problem for any future rips as I will be forced to do that conversion all movies.
