    For some reason I can play original HD-DVD files with PowerDVD but not from the HD, it just wont play any evo files individually or from the folder. Any suggestions or alternative players?

    HD-DVD playback is not DigitalTV. Moving you to our Software playing forum.

    I guess you could play hddvds from the HDD with an older version of POwerDVD.

    you need powerdvd 7.3 v3319a or older to be able to play from the h.d.
