Flasked AVI file problem:

Here is my process:
Rip DVD with Smartripper.

Use FlaskMpeg w/thunder.mism to process IFO/VOBs to one AVI with Divx 5.0.2 codec.

--Flask config:720x480, 29.97, no deinterlace, decode audio @ 48k, HQ Bicubic, no crop, no letterbox, no keep aspect, search size 5000 (defaults for most of this.)

--Divx 5.0.2 config - 1-pass quality based, Quantizer=2, no MPEG 4 tools, Psychovisual Enhancements=Strong, Pre Prcessing Source=Strong, Data Rate Control is default 12,2,2000,10,20 and Performence/quality=Slowest

I then encode/burn to DVD with Ulead DVD Workshop.
-Yes I've tried different rates.

The AVI file plays fine w/PowerDVD and WMP, audio and video are in sync.

When I burn the AVI to DVD or DVD directory on the hard disc, the resulting video plays like a slide show, no sound, just picture after picture albeit good quality pics but useless.

My system is a P4 2.2 GHz w/512 MEG and 1/40 GIG and 1 120 GIG drive, video mem=64.

It sounds like either the Divx codec or the DVD Workshop encoding that is the problem, but when I do smaller films such as trailers or just a single vob file it all works fine, it appears only to fail when an entire DVD/movie is done. I have tried changing several of the above settings, but get the same result.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
