Is it possible to avoid complicated steps of converting files for svcd standart and made useing imovie .mpg file, then by useing GNU vcdtoolsX 1.1 prepare .xlm file and then aging useing GNU vcdtoolsX 1.1 prepare the .img file???

if yes that are the parameters shoud I use in iMovie for .mpg (SVCD) file- (I mean 480x480 motion JPEG A etc ect ect)??
