When I rip "The Rocketeer" or "The Others" (both with french language option), then run through dvd2avi, then through tmpgenc, the movie with show about .5-2 sec of english then .5-2 seconds of the french. The sound is the same but it keeps looping. After the .5-2 secongs of english sound and english opening credits, I get .5-2 seconds of english sound of what I just heard and the french version of what I just saw. There has to be a way to fix this. Please help.

You have multi layer movies. When you rip, select one angle to keep. This should fix your problems.
