I got a Pioneer 104 drive off of Ebay, & it works great.
I wanted to make sure I had the latest firmware, but in the readme it said that the upgrade was NOT intended for OEM drives.
Also, my drive has the "MA" on it. I've read that this means it's supposed to be for a MAC. It seems to work fine on my PC though...is this something I should worry about...especially when upgrading firmware?

If the readme says that the upgrade was not intended for the drive, don't do it. You'll have to buy another one.
