Problem converting NTSC MPEG2 to PAL MPEG2

I have How High on a NTSC SVCD and I wanted to convert it to a PAL SVCD. So i extracted the MPEG2 using VCDGear. Now i wanna convert the MPEG2 to PAL 25fps. I tried using TMPGEnc which worked but it left the audio out of sync with the video, the vid was like ahead of the audio. How would i fix this?

Edit the audio with an audio editor seperately.
btw, I've seen a guide in the "howtoconvert" section.

Hi Ive got exactly the same problem.

I can do convertions quite well but the audio goes slightly out of sync at the end of the cd (40 mins). Ok Ive tried 2 ways. Using tmpgenc in advanced I dont check "Do not convert framerate!" then mutliplex mp2 from dvd2avi project....

If I do it the way vcdhelp say by checking the do not convert framerate the picture is brill but the audio goes out of sync quite badly towards the end..(I am converting sound with besweet) 23fps to 25fps..I am baffled is there a way i can tweak besweet in order to make the audio sync better??

i tried changing the frame rate in the BeSweet GUI in the FRC presets to NTSC2PAL (29.970 to 25.000) but after the wav sounds slowed down, which options do i have to check to fix this?
