I was told by someone I know that VirtualDub could locate bad frames and you could edit them out. If so, how do I do this?

1, load AVI into Vdub and scan for bad frames. Video > Scan video stream for errors.
1b If it finds bad frames, set video/audio to streaming and SAVE AS, save out another copy of AVI.
Vdub will save a new file without the junk frames.
You can also use "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" which will make a log of bad frames on drive C
